John Clarke began his career in real estate in 1992 as a commercial REALTOR® in Vancouver. He transitioned from commercial to residential real estate in 1998 in order to work with his wife, Shirley. John and Shirley’s real estate experiences started much earlier as investors themselves. Their experiences as real estate investors enable John and Shirley to assist their own clients with buying or selling their own investment properties.

Prior to his real estate career, John worked in the pharmaceutical business for 18 years. John and Shirley attended the University of Toronto together and have been married since 1974. They have 3 wonderful children, Laura, Jordan and Brooke. Moving to Vancouver in 1988 from Toronto and starting a career in real estate have been the two of the most significant decisions in their lives. John loves living in beautiful North Vancouver waking up to the view of the mountains every morning and taking walks on the seawall with Shirley. John equally loves the real estate industry, and his attention to detail and easy rapport with clients make John an invaluable asset to Shirley's team.
